
HOW IT WORKS
WALKTOBER is a 4-week walking campaign with the goal of increasing your steps throughout the month of October.
Each participant will track individual steps using a FREE LIVESMART issued pedometer or other fitness tracking device.
Log your steps online using the LIVESMART portal or submit a completed paper tracker to your on-site Ambassador
by November 7 to receive campaign credit and a completion prize.
Complete the Amazing ONI Race (optional) by using the map on page 3 to walk around the country visiting cities with
ONI affiliate locations.
It only takes one step to begin your health journey.

LENORE'S STORY
Lenore joined LIVESMART one year ago. With some recent health changes, she was motivated to start practicing healthy habits that she could sustain for years to come. By prioritizing daily movement, she discovered how consistency in one habit can lead to achieving bigger health goals.
Lenore participated in WALKTOBER for the first time last year and hasn't stopped walking since. She recorded 543.140 steps during the campaign and participated in The Amazing "ONI" Race. By the end of WALKTOBER, she had committed to a daily step goal of 10,000 steps or more, a streak she has maintained for over 333 consecutive days. With her increased physical activity, Lenore has improved her blood pressure, lost weight and advanced to Platinum club this year!
Lenore credits WALKTOBER as a source of inspiration to increase her physical activity. Lenore shared: "This WALKTOBER event was great. I'm a very competetive person and accountability is very helpful to me. Knowing that LIVESMART is here for me keeps me more mindful of my health."

GETTING STARTED
1. PICK UP YOUR MATERIALS
Pick up your participant Guide with paper tracker and FREE Pedometer and begin tracking your steps on October 1.
2. TRACK YOUR STEPS
Record your daily steps in the LIVESMART portal or on your paper tracking log.
3. AMAZING ONI RACE (optional)
Use the map included in the guide to walk around the country visiting cities with ONI affiliate locations.
See page 3 for more information.

4. SUBMIT YOUR TRACKER
PORTAL/APP: Track at least 4 weeks in the LIVESMART portal by November 7. No other submission required.
PAPER TRACKER: Submit a copy of your tracking log to your on-site LIVESMART Ambassador by November 7.
